Karissa was caring for a dying patient. She not only provides the best nursing care, but her level of compassion for families is above and beyond. Today, she took EKG strips and preserved them in cleaned vials so that the patient's 3 children had their mom's heartbeat to keep. I am so thankful to have her care for my patients.
