When I unexpectedly experienced PPROM and was admitted to the hospital, I was terrified. Everything was happening so fast, and I was overwhelmed with fear for my baby. From the moment Karina walked in, she made me feel safe. She was the first nurse to care for me, and I will never forget the compassion she showed me. She comforted me when I was scared and answered every question with patience, and reassured me that I was in good hands. Her calm presence helped ease my anxiety and gave me hope when I needed it most. What impressed me even more was how proactive and knowledgeable she was. She immediately got my care started. Knowing she was acting so quickly to protect both my baby and me gave me tremendous peace of mind. She made an overwhelming and heartbreaking experience feel manageable, and I will always be grateful for the incredible difference she made in our lives. She is the kind of nurse every patient hopes to have.
