I have never seen someone with such love, care, professionalism, and impressive dedication.
Nurse Karen showed her passion for her job when my wife who gave birth to one of my children had a very strong hemorrhage, nurse Karen was very professional and immediately took control of my wife since my wife lost too much blood at times she lost consciousness, but Karen was there during the whole time that my wife needed to overcome the crisis.
I could see Karen's concern when doing what was necessary to stabilize my wife. It is moving to see that even though she is used to dealing with complicated situations, she has a sense of humanity. At times, I think I felt the anguish of seeing my wife's condition. Karen's face was not that of someone who does things just for a job. She told my wife, "Mom, everything will be okay, just look at me, everything will be okay." She was like a superhero, like a mother taking care of my wife.
I saw in her face a warrior, someone who goes beyond her job; without a doubt, she is someone special. I have never seen someone with such love, care, professionalism, and impressive dedication. We speak very little English, but Karen always looked for a way for us to understand everything, and she was constant, she didn't miss a single detail, she explained every process and any symptom that my wife felt didn't pass her by unprepared.
Her way of clarifying everything was incredible; she kept total control of my wife and our baby. Even when my wife was already stabilized, she was there in the room, monitoring every detail. I think we were very lucky to be treated by Karen and everyone else. They were all kind and understanding. Karen is simply a special person; she definitely makes a difference. Thank you very much to Karen. May God bless you always.
