Wow, what a wonderful nurse you have here at Mountainview Hall 4.  We watched how she took great care to show my husband that he was her “first priority” when I know she had a lot to do. My husband was fresh post-op, he couldn’t void.  He persisted in getting out of bed. I bet not fewer than 10 times. Each time she helped him, she was so very understanding, compassionate, caring, and always professional.  She never showed she was upset over the multiple calls for help.

She took time to listen to his concern and explain what was ordered and the “why”.  I couldn’t get over her patience and understanding of how uncomfortable he was, yet she never told him what he had to do.  She explained, listened, and allowed him, as the patient, to make decisions for himself. Never once in her 12 hrs did she get impatient or give us the feeling like he was an aggravation.  She is a wonderful representative of a professional, caring nurse. She represents the mission of HCA, and her caring does make a difference!  Thank you.
