I was going through the worst moment in my life as I bled out after labor. I felt like I was dying & Kalli stayed by my side as I passed out. She held my hand and called the doctors back, ensuring me I'd be OK as they fixed me up.
I went in for an induction. It was my 5th pregnancy but my 1st induction ever. I was completely in my head about it and was super nervous & scared. I never liked the idea of making a baby come out before the baby was ready, but this pregnancy had me on a rollercoaster of emotions that I didn't understand. Right away, Kalli noticed my discomfort, and she helped me feel more at ease with my decision. Kalli actually took the time to listen & talk to me. I felt a warm heart connection with Kalli. She assured me that it was going to be OK, and I was actually in labor; however, my baby was too comfortable and kept pushing herself away, delaying the labor. Kalli is a special individual, her personality is beautiful; she wasn't lying when she said she was awesome. She was there the whole time, even when she switched out with another nurse.
She still checked in, and after hours being in labor, Kalli stayed longer after her shift until my labor was done. Which I never experienced before & still appreciate til this day. I appreciate every little thing she did for me. From listening, talking to me, making me laugh, being there for me at my lowest point, and comforting me, especially when my epidural wasn't working, she went and got help right away. She even helped the dad feel at ease when things took a turn after the birth.

I'm glad I had Kalli as my nurse & if I could, I would request her as my nurse all the time. She's awesome!
