Kalley exuded calmness throughout the whole long morning.
Kalley was wonderful. She constantly checked on me and provided me with snacks after I had not eaten all day. She made sure me and my baby were doing alright and constantly let us know she was there if we needed her.

Kalley was one of the nurses who assisted us when I came into the ER struggling to breathe with pneumonia. I was panicking and feeling so weak and scared. Kalley exuded calmness throughout the whole long morning. She overheard the doctor ask if I might be pregnant. I answered that I wished, but it was unlikely due to years of infertility. The test did come back negative. Kalley later, with more privacy, told my husband and I that she empathized with our infertility struggles and to not give up hope. She was an enthusiastic listener as we shared stories of our foster children. Our interactions made me feel so much less alone and so cared for on an otherwise exhausting and scary night. She truly expressed great empathy, kindness, and vulnerability. I left the ER feeling like I had made a friend.
I don't have many amazing nurse stories with extensive medical history, which is why I wanted to make sure this amazing nurse gets the recognition that she deserves. She has excellent bedside manner, is extremely attentive to patients. She was not only empathetic to my needs as a patient, but also kind and caring, which I find lacking these days. Thank you, Kalley!

Kalley was wonderful. She went the extra mile, was compassionate, and made sure that I was extra comfortable and complimented me and made sure to point out that I was doing well with my breathing during a very painful nerve block while I was getting prepped for stitches after accidentally cutting half of my thumb off in a food prep accident. She was so kind to my family members, too. I'm grateful for great nurses like her.
