Overall, my mom has received great care at Ascension Seton Williamson. One nurse in particular stands out because of her excellent care.

Kala, the fourth-floor nurse, has been consistently thorough, kind, and attentive. She listens to the patients and responds with direct help or referral to the doctor. My mom had to get a transfusion, and Kala not only explained the process but also organized and set everything up in advance to avoid complications once the blood was delivered.

You can tell that Kala considers her work a calling and not just a job. She treats my mom as if she were her own, and Kala is consistent. She is always kind and detailed, without exception. If she has bad days, you’d never know it. She puts the patient first. Kala has the unique ability to be laser-focused on her work while at the same time being engaging with my mom.

My family feels so blessed to know Mom is in Kala’s professional hands. We thank God for Kala and Ascension Seton Hospital!
