My husband, who was 71 years old, was a patient until his passing. He had so many wonderful nurses, but Katilyn stood out the most. She took the time to explain things to us and to make sure we understood, made sure my husband was always comfortable, and whatever he needed was taken care of, even if it was helping him find something on the television or helping him text me.

She would play music for him on the television to soothe him. She also would check on me to make sure I was eating, she even went as far as calling me to make sure I got home safely after spending an overnight with my husband when he was having a bad day, who does that she sure is a very caring nurse. On the day leading up to his passing, when we had to make the very hard decision to take him off the ventilator, she sat with my family and me and just listened to our concerns. She was so compassionate and sympathetic to us. On that night, she was in the room with us, and even though her shift was just about over.

She stayed with my husband and finished whatever happened with him after his passing. She was my earth angel, and I will never forget her kindness. She also took the time to come to pay her respects at my husband's funeral. Kaitlyn sure is a very devoted and special nurse.
