I came into the ER essentially because I had separated a dog from hurting my mother-in-law's dog. My fingers were both badly bleeding and cut. I ended up getting admitted due to my finger being severely fractured and them taking X-rays to see how bad it was! Up until the night before I had to have surgery, no one had cleaned all the blood off both my hands. Maybe they didn't want to because I was having surgery! Justin was my roommate's nurse, and one of the ladies who was helping me recommended that Justin, even though he was not my nurse, would take care of it for me.

Sure enough, Justin came into my room, soaked my fingers, took out all the dog hair that was embedded in all that blood, and all of a sudden, I felt better. I was even ready to go home before I had to have surgery; that's how much better my hands felt. I want to acknowledge him and make a shout-out to him for going the extra mile and helping take care of my hands when he totally did not have to. He was not my nurse. He goes over and beyond his passion when he talks about things that have to do with his job! He has a great attitude, is very friendly to talk to, and is very knowledgeable. I could just tell the passion he has for his job, and I appreciate what he did for me, and he made me feel. He made a huge impact on the care he gave me! Thank you so much, Justin! You are truly a great nurse and an angel from above!
