June has been a nurse with Lee Health since 1992. In that time, she has served our organization and patients with the utmost professionalism in any role she has been in. She has grown and mentored countless staff and leaders with a kind, collaborative, and consistent approach. Many of those people are here today and lean on those lessons June imparted in their day-to-day leadership. I personally know that if there is an issue, concern, or opportunity in any of June’s areas of oversight, she has it under control. June is a leader that others look to, including myself. It is with great honor that we award June Schneider with the DAISY Nurse Leader Award.
