I have worked clinically alongside Nurse Fernandez for several years in my capacity as an emergency room physician. In that time, I have witnessed Nurse Fernandez embody the essence of what a DAISY Award seeks to celebrate. The nursing care provided by Nurse Fernandez is a seamless blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion, grounded in years of rigorous training and honed through tireless experience on the front lines of emergency care. Her clinical knowledge and bedside skills are extraordinary, and she applies them with a sense of humility, night after night.
