I want to commend Julie for her outstanding compassion, dedication, and patient-centered care during my laminectomy journey. Julie has truly been a blessing to me. She understands that I have both anxiety and ADHD, and she meets me with patience, kindness, and zero judgment every time we interact.

During my care, I sent her over a dozen messages through MyChart asking a variety of questions—many of which others might have considered unusual. Julie responded to every single one thoughtfully and thoroughly, never once making me feel like I was asking too much. Instead, she reassured me each time that it was completely okay to ask questions, which helped ease my anxiety tremendously.

There was a time when I became overwhelmed about being scheduled for physical therapy. Julie didn’t just send a message—she called me personally, stayed on the phone with me, and calmly talked me through everything. She even helped guide me step-by-step on how to get to the location of the physical therapy office, knowing that I sometimes struggle to trust GPS directions. That level of care and attention meant so much to me.

Julie also went above and beyond by recommending a physical therapist who had the right experience working with someone like me and my specific laminectomy surgery. Her thoughtful recommendation showed how much she truly understands her patients’ needs.

In addition to all of that, Julie helped me with important aspects of my recovery, including getting my back brace and assisting with my FMLA paperwork. These things can be stressful and confusing, but she made the process smooth and manageable through her support.

There are honestly too many things Julie has helped me with to list. She is consistently compassionate, incredibly helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. She treats me with dignity, respect, and genuine care, and I am beyond grateful for everything she has done for me.

Julie is an exceptional nurse, and I truly believe she deserves recognition for the positive impact she makes in her patients’ lives every single day.
