Julie Angley, Registered Nurse

Julie's a great nurse. Her warm smile and friendly personality made me feel right at home at St. Luke's Monroe over Labor Day weekend. Beyond her excellent care during my stay, what stood out most was her attentiveness when I didn't call for her. Mentally, I broke down late Saturday night. As I cried myself to sleep, Julie heard me from the hall and came in to see what was wrong. Her compassion reminded me of my late mom, and that's what I needed. She found the GI PA on duty to answer the questions that were making me so upset, and she followed up afterward to make sure I felt better. She really went above and beyond because she could've just walked by when she heard me, but she didn't; she made a point to try to address what was making me cry, and it worked. I'm forever grateful for the care I received.
