This extraordinary nurse was nominated with the following story:
"Everyone would be so lucky to have her as their nurse. She welcomed my son from ICU by explaining his medications, making sure he was comfortable, and keeping us informed of what to expect, what needed to be done on his breathing, blood pressure, insulin, and sodium levels.
She anticipated what needed to be done, explained to us so we knew what to expect from each treatment and medication. Her personality was so uplifting. She smiled and made us all feel better.
The knowledge of every aspect for his pneumonia, sepsis, medications, keeping us apprised of oxygen levels, what was happening was reassuring we were in good hands. When we received the news he needed a pacemaker, she explained what we could expect for the operation and recovery, which relieved our fears.
The patients that are lucky enough to have her as their nurse are truly fortunate. I can’t say enough about her professionalism, skills, knowledge, and passion. We are so thankful to have her.”
