Her kindness, compassion, and consistent support meant the world to me during such a vulnerable time.
I first came to Labor and Delivery Triage early in my third trimester due to decreased fetal movement.  As a first-time mother, I was incredibly anxious and worried that my concerns might be dismissed or seen as an overreaction.

That day, Julia was the nurse who cared for me.  She not only reassured me once we confirmed that everything with the baby was okay, but she also stayed with me for over 30 minutes -- listening to my concerns, answering questions, and validating that I had done the right thing by coming in.

In the weeks leading up to delivery, I returned to triage a few more times.  Each time, Julia made a point to stop by, offer support, and check in on how I was doing -- even if she wasn't assigned to my care that day.

After I delivered, I was walking the halls when Julia came by to meet my baby.  Her kindness, compassion, and consistent support meant the world to me during such a vulnerable time.
