Recently, my father-in-law was on Acute Rehab for about a week. They had a great experience, and everyone they encountered was kind, helpful, and caring. One nurse in particular went above and beyond her duties. My father-in-law had brought his own blanket with him from home. It had "Paw Paw" printed all over it, a Christmas gift from his grandchildren a couple of years ago. He uses this blanket every day! One morning, his family noticed the blanket was missing. They asked the staff if anyone had seen it. No luck. The next day, the blanket was back on his bed. It had gotten caught up in the linen and was put in the dirty linen bin. Judy Ward went through the bags of dirty linen, found the blanket, took it home to launder it, and brought it back to him. My mother and father-in-law were so grateful to her for going the extra step to try and find his blanket! Thank you, Judy!
