Juan Angelo Gil, RN, BSN
Angelo was an exceptional nurse. His bedside manner was outstanding, and his follow-up care was equally impressive. From the moment he approached me, he was patient, attentive, and truly listened.
He thoroughly explained everything he was about to do and consistently asked for my consent before proceeding, which I deeply appreciated, especially given the level of pain I was experiencing in the emergency room. His skill was evident as well; the IV insertion was completely painless, which is rare in my experience. Angelo's care, compassion, and professionalism stood out in every interaction.
After my discharge around 2:00 a.m., he went above and beyond by walking me to my vehicle and ensuring I was safely inside. Then, around 3:30 a.m., he personally called to let me know I had left my blanket. He had already secured it in a bag with my name on it so I could easily retrieve it the next day.
Angelo is truly an outstanding nurse, and I wish him continued success as he advances in his career with Ochsner Baptist.
