I would like to give a special mention to an extraordinary nurse who helped me during a critical crisis during my stay. I would like to say a special and heartfelt thank you to Josh, the Critical Outreach Nurse. Josh supported the team in managing a situation when I collapsed in the corridor. He attended to the emergency and ensured all precautions were taken to stabilise me. He also attended my scans the same day to avoid any future medical instability. I experienced the best of care from him, and he treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. Thank you, Josh.

We want to acknowledge that last year, Josh arranged for a poorly patient to have a visit from her dog and came in on his day off to facilitate. This year, he has also arranged a hairdresser visit for a long-term patient. You are amazing, Josh – and truly extraordinary.
