She did not hesitate to speak up; Josephine gave our family the support and guidance we needed to make a difficult but very necessary decision.
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the care that was provided to my mother during the final months of her cancer journey. From the very first visit, Nurse Josephine demonstrated thoroughness, attentiveness, and professionalism that immediately put my parents at ease. More importantly, Josephine's rare and genuine compassion became more evident with each visit, making an immeasurable difference in our experience. Josephine cared for my mother in a way that felt deeply personal—as though she were tending to someone who was personally important to her. What my family and I are most grateful for is Josephine's courage and advocacy at a critical moment. As my mother’s condition worsened rapidly, Josephine recognized with clarity and urgency that it was time to transition to hospice care. She did not hesitate to speak up; Josephine gave our family the support and guidance we needed to make a difficult but very necessary decision. She passed less than a month later, and I am profoundly grateful that Josephine helped us act when it mattered most. Her compassion and integrity had a lasting impact on our family. She truly exemplifies the very best of what healthcare should be, and we feel incredibly fortunate that she was part of my mother’s care.
