I would like to take a moment to recognize Josephine Lalic, RN, an incredibly kind and compassionate nurse who cared for me during a very difficult time. I will never forget how she looked after me following my triple bypass surgery. Josephine was my night nurse during my stay in Acute Rehabilitation, and her patience and dedication meant the world to me. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable, well cared for, and as pain-free as possible. She explained the importance of participating in rehab and inspired me to stay and be committed to my therapy. Her bright, cheerful personality truly made my stay a positive experience, even in the most challenging moments. Josephine carefully explained the medications I was taking, my options for pain management, and always made sure I understood my care plan. She went above and beyond EVERY SINGLE DAY to make sure my needs were met and I felt supported. I especially appreciated how she listened so kindly to my stories about my wife N - those conversations meant a lot to me.
