I work closely with Josephine Daloia-Bottass. Since starting here in Primary care, Josephine has gone above and beyond for both patients and staff. She is selfless and always willing to lend a helping hand. One of many instances, she received a walk-in at the end of her tour, and she stayed late and made sure the patient was safe and taken care of. Additionally, without hesitation, she volunteered to assist the DAISY Committee. She helped to facilitate a new method of voting for the DAISY Committee members through SharePoint. This has helped to increase member participation and the ease of voting. She is an invaluable and irreplaceable member of her Pact Team. She has helped to decrease the number of patients on the panel report for HTN, diabetes, and pap smears with her diligent and meticulous follow-up. Additionally, she provides the utmost excellent patient care and education. Providing patients with handouts and time and attention during nursing visits. There isn't a task she will not take on. She is the true definition of a caring, knowledgeable, selfless, hardworking, and truly invaluable person. She is a great mentor and is the full embodiment of Florence Nightingale. She motivates me every day to become a better nurse.
