A Thank You Note to Joseph: My 88-year-old grandma was admitted for altered mental status. Though she has bit quite a few bumps during her stay, I wanted to say thank you for your understanding and patience in managing her confusion and combative episodes, while also being such a shoulder to lean on for our family. In addition to your exceptional care for my “mamaw,” you showed such support and empathy towards me and my family during a difficult time. These efforts did not go unnoticed.
