I want to recognize Jordan as a compassionate, competent ER nurse. We presented to BCHC ER through urgent care with my mother, who was in excruciating abdominal pain and jaundiced. Jordan quickly assessed my mother's pain and was able to advocate quickly to get pain medication on board to reduce her suffering. Since I had never heard my mother rate her pain as a ten out of ten, I just knew we were not going to receive good news. We learned quickly that once the CT was read, my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer/METS. Jordan provided the quiet strength we needed that day; I am grateful to her for the kind, compassionate care she provided my mother.
