She utilized her vast knowledge of chemotherapy and passion for best practice to implement a chemo administration certification program and a chemotherapy reaction protocol, which nurses had been requesting for years. This protocol enhances staff confidence and allows oncology nurses to manage chemotherapy reactions more effectively and promptly, significantly improving patient care during oncologic emergencies.
