I am a new patient at the Crestview PC facility. When I called to make an appointment, Joni took the time to explain everything in detail, and this really helped, since I am new to this facility and my new PCP. She gave me detailed directions and instructions, and she patiently and kindly answered all of my questions.

On the day of the appointment, there was an accident on FL 85 North, and this greatly delayed my arrival. I was finally walking into the facility, about five minutes before my appointment time, and I received a call from Glenn Fernandes' office. It was Joni checking up on me, making sure that everything was okay, and were there any issues that she could help me address. She was so kind, courteous, and considerate. I have never had a Sacred Heart nurse ever show that kind of professionalism over a patient that she had never met.

Though it was not my fault regarding my near-late arrival, I had departed my home two hours earlier, I was still overwhelmed by Joni's concern and consideration. She was so kind, and her only intention was to make sure that I was okay, and could she help me in any way. Her kindness and helpfulness were humbling.

People in any circumstance are rarely that considerate and helpful, and never just for an office visit. Joni made me feel like I mattered, and that it was important to her that I was able to arrive on time for the best possible visit and treatment. She even gave me directions regarding where to go, once I entered the building.

Lastly, when I arrived and she took me back for my appointment, she was totally understanding of my circumstance, and she was thorough and complete in my preparation for my office visit. It is so comforting, when a professional person can show such compassion for a total stranger. I look forward to my next visit, because I know how I am going to be treated, and it will be an excellent experience. Joni will see to that, because that is who she is, and that is how she treats people. And you cannot do it any better than that.
