I would like to recognize Jonathan for the incredible care and kindness he has shown to my family over the years.

I am both a mother of five daughters and an AdventHealth team member, and throughout the years, we have had to visit the Emergency Department for different situations. Almost every time we come in, we are assigned to Jonathan. He has always been pleasant, patient, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure my children are comfortable and cared for. His compassion and calm personality always make a stressful situation easier to handle.

Most recently, I came through the ED doors not as an employee, but as a worried mom. My daughter had broken her finger, and because she is on the autism spectrum and does not feel pain the same way others do, it was a difficult moment for both of us.

Jonathan showed such patience and understanding. He spoke to her in a loving and gentle way that truly connected with her. He took the time to explain what was happening and made her feel safe. What touched my heart the most was that she still remembers him and talks about how kind he was to her.

Jonathan represents the heart of AdventHealth. He treats every patient with care and respect, and his compassion has made a lasting difference in our lives. I am proud to work for the same organization as someone who embodies our mission so well, and I am deeply thankful for the care he has given to my family.
