Jonathan (Jon) David Bousie, RNMH

Jon has been an outstanding example of the NHS at its best. Jon has recently assessed my daughter. He has been very knowledgeable, caring, and approachable. He has a gift of making people feel at ease and soothes anxiety. Jon had accessible communication, he was committed and did what he said he was going to do, he gave very practical advice, and his knowledge was very reassuring. He was caring and compassionate, with a gentle sense of humour. He clearly explained the assessment process and took time to ensure my daughter was comfortable with it, he focused on what matters to her and, in a follow-up, was really positive and reassuring about some decisions she has made. He was thoroughly professional but warm and friendly. He was clearly passionate and committed to his role, his job, UHL, and the NHS. Every service should have a Jonathan Bousie. Sometimes, saying thank you is not enough!.
