Kaweah has a small handful of truly exceptional nurses, and I believe they deserve recognition for their kindness, hard work, and dedication to their patients that lead them to go above and beyond. One of those exceptional nurses is John.

He has taken care of me for three days straight so far, and he has gone out of his way to advocate for me, as a patient and a human being, and has shown me decency.

John has been very helpful and very communicative with me throughout my stay in 3 South. Every time I ask him questions, he takes the time he needs to think and either gives me an answer, or he'll admit that he isn't sure of the answer, and he calls someone else or goes and finds the answer.

He takes the time to be in the room with me when the doctors and specialists are here, so that we are all on the same page, and he advocates for me regarding my care pretty stubbornly. John is another one of those nurses who are exactly where they need to be.
