You can really tell that he has a love for his job and all the patients that he is responsible for.
Nomination 1:
My husband had shoulder replacement surgery, which is no light thing. You know, when your family is about to have surgery, all you care about is their well-being and the kind of care they will receive. Well, Nurse Joel was just what the doctor ordered. He was so thorough and compassionate the entire time he was taking care of my husband.
He made me, my husband, and his mother feel confident in the care that my husband would receive. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. You can really tell that he has a love for his job and all the patients that he is responsible for. It was such a blessing to have the honor of Nurse Joel be the one to care for my husband and to put my mind at ease. He has our deepest gratitude for the outstanding service he provided. My wish is that all nurses would express the concern, care, and competency that Joel did.

Joel provided excellent care to me. He explained my procedure in a way I could understand without using confusing medical terms. He was patient, kind, and personable, making me feel at ease during this stressful procedure. What stands out most is how genuine he is. I did not feel like "just another patient." He made me feel comfortable, cared for, and reassured. I am grateful for his compassion and professionalism, and I believe he represents the very best of nursing.
