Joe came into my husband's room approximately 6:45 PM to introduce himself as the night nurse who would be caring for my husband. During this introduction, Joe went over, in detail, my husband's past medical history - which is quite lengthy. In addition, Joe recapped ALL the medications that my husband was taking on a daily basis. Since my husband has such an extensive medical history with numerous medications, my husband mentioned how he thought, possibly some of the medicines may need to be adjusted for a different outcome. Joe was explaining how different makers of the same drug may possibly have different outcomes on individuals. Joe offered this information from his background as a Pharmacy technician. In today's world, many things are rushed. Not only did Joe spend time with my husband, but it was obvious that Joe had taken the time to familiarize himself with his patient. As I left for the evening, I knew my husband was in good hands!
