After being transferred from the Emergency Department to the RDU for a possible acute stroke, I was understandably anxious and concerned. Nurse Jody was assigned to my care during the second shift, and her impact on my experience was profound and meaningful.

Nurse Jody demonstrated exceptional skill in delivering personalized care that addressed both my medical and emotional needs. Understanding that I was separated from my baby for the first time, she took deliberate steps to ease my anxiety and provide reassurance throughout my stay. Her approach to care wasn't just protocol-driven but was tailored to my specific situation and concerns.

Nurse Jody excelled in maintaining clear, consistent communication with me, my mother, and the multidisciplinary team. She meticulously explained all medical procedures and findings in understandable terms, ensuring I was fully informed about my condition and treatment plan.
