My partner was admitted to AAU as an inpatient and moved to Neuro Rehab. While everyone in this ward is very good, I must commend Nurse Joanne. She consistently went above and beyond. 

Every time we needed help, no task was too big or too small. She never made us feel rushed, even when the hospital was busy. When I asked for information or an update, Joanne would find out or get the appropriate doctor without fail and always, ALWAYS with a smile. 

My partner has only recently started having anxiety attacks, and when this happened, Joanne helped de-escalate the situation and brought a smile back to my partner’s face. 

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Joanne’s professionalism, understanding, compassion, incredible work ethic, and genuine kindness.

You have a wonderful staff with very high standards of service. That said, Joanne must be recognised for effortlessly shining above
