I am incredibly honored to nominate Joanna Moser for the DAISY Award in recognition of her unwavering dedication, leadership, and commitment to the success of both her team and the learners within the Transition to Practice Program.
Although I have only been with the organization for a short time, it quickly became clear to me how much she invests in the people around her. She genuinely cares about her team members, their professional growth, and the success of every student and learner she supports. Her dedication extends far beyond the responsibilities of her role and is evident in the positive impact she has on everyone she works with.
She is constantly coordinating and updating complex schedules to ensure that students, learners, educators, and leaders are where they need to be. The level of collaboration required across multiple departments, partnerships, and facilities is remarkable. While I can only imagine how stressful managing these moving pieces can be, she consistently handles every challenge with professionalism, grace, and composure. No matter how demanding the situation becomes, she remains approachable, supportive, and focused on finding solutions.
What stands out most is her ability to successfully balance the needs of clinical educators, students, leadership teams, community partners, and facilities while maintaining a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to excellence. She works diligently behind the scenes to create meaningful learning experiences and ensure the success of those around her, often without seeking recognition for her efforts.
She is far more impactful than she gives herself credit for, and her contributions deserve to be celebrated. Her leadership, compassion, dedication, and tireless work ethic make her an outstanding role model and an incredibly deserving candidate for the DAISY Award.
