She went above and beyond for me and my family. My husband has Alzheimer's and is to the point where I know not what he will do.
Long story short, I had asked my sister to watch him while I was in surgery and afterward. I saw him after surgery, but I was so out of it that I didn’t realize I didn’t know where he was. I had given him my phone but didn’t realize that he couldn’t use it. I couldn’t call anyone else because I didn’t have a phone. I began to panic because I didn’t know where he was.
In steps JoAnn! She found out some things and started working to find him. After a lot of time passed, she was able to get a hold to find out that my sister was at home… no husband. She asked what I wanted to do, and I said that maybe we should call the police. They talked to my sister and her family, and they all went out looking for him.
The next time I talked to her, she said that it had all been resolved. He had apparently spent all day at The Legacy House.
I can never express how much she meant in those few hours. What a wonderful person she must be to have helped me without any question. My husband, for all he caused us, was found fine. Thank you again. I will remember this forever.
