Joana is one of the nicest nurses that my sister has had care for her. She was very nice to my sister and me.

I would like to say thank you for being an amazing nurse. The day I nominated you was the day my sister was crying in pain, and you were the only one who helped her calm down. We lost our father recently and he always loved to tell his nurses that they did a good job. So this is in honor of my father.

Joana has been a big help to me as a newly postpartum mom. She encouraged me throughout the whole process as a new mom when it was very stressful. She even hand-made my baby a hat. I really hope another mom who is also having a stressful time during her postpartum period crosses with Joana as her nurse too.

My girlfriend was very nervous about the delivery of our baby, and Joana was such a polite nurse and validated my girlfriend’s feelings. She was never pushy in the process of her postpartum recovery. Joana brought a peaceful and very hospitable feeling into the room every time she walked in. She even went above and beyond to make our baby a crochet beanie to wear! Never would I have imagined a nurse going above and beyond like that. To shorten it up, she was a very amazing nurse who puts her patients’ feelings first to give them the most comfortable stay they can get.
