A rapid response occurred when the daughter and young (8-year-old) granddaughter arrived. The daughter ran into the room crying, and the granddaughter was just standing there and began crying. Jessie just scooped that little girl up, held her, and comforted her. The little girl just melted into her arms. Jessie took her to the bay windows, where they sat, talked, and ate ice cream.
