I want to nominate Jessica for the DAISY Award, as she truly exemplifies what it means to be an exceptional nurse. I had the privilege of witnessing and assisting Jess during a recent code blue. The way she took charge in that critical moment was nothing short of amazing. Jess maintained composure, staying calm and focused while managing the situation with skill and professionalism, demonstrating confidence in everyone around them. Jess's quick thinking and leadership during that emergency were completely vital in giving the patient the best chance of survival. But what truly stands out about Jess is her unwavering commitment to her patients beyond the hospital setting. She consistently goes above and beyond, not just in her technical abilities but in the kindness and compassion she shows to everyone in her care. Jess has a remarkable way of making each patient feel seen, heard, and truly cared for. As a nurse, Jess doesn’t just meet expectations but exceeds them every single day on the floor. Jess is a nurse I know I can always count on, and one who continues to inspire me and everyone around them. For everything Jess does, she is very deserving of the DAISY Award.
