Despite how unwell I felt, Jessica brought light to my days. Her warmth and positivity were palpable, and I often found myself smiling and laughing in her presence.
As a nurse myself, I have a deep appreciation for the complexities and challenges of providing truly exceptional patient care. It is from this professional lens that I can say with complete confidence - Jessica exemplifies the highest standards of nursing practice. Her clinical judgment, compassion, and dedication to her patients go above and beyond what is expected, and she left a lasting impression on me not only as a patient but also as a member of the nursing profession.

During my recent stay, she demonstrated unwavering advocacy, support, and expertise. Jessica took the time to listen to my concerns, validated my observations, and took immediate, appropriate action to escalate my care. She provided me with the resources and guidance needed to escalate my concerns when I faced physician opposition. Her advocacy was not only effective, but it was vital in ensuring I received timely intervention to begin recovering.

What stood out as strongly as her clinical expertise was the compassionate and supportive presence she maintained throughout. Jessica consistently made me feel heard, safe, and respected. At no point did I feel like an inconvenience or a burden. She carried herself with the kind of empathy and grace that every patient hopes to find in their caregiver. Despite how unwell I felt, Jessica brought light to my days. Her warmth and positivity were palpable, and I often found myself smiling and laughing in her presence.

She is an exemplary nurse whose professionalism, compassion, and advocacy make her an invaluable asset to the Bellevue Medical Center team. Her ability to combine clinical expertise with empathetic care sets her apart as a true leader in nursing. She embodies everything the DAISY Award represents - compassionate, skilled, and patient-centered care.
