My husband had a stroke while on vacation in Massachusetts. We were so lucky to have Jess as our nurse during his recovery. She went above and beyond to help him get clean sheets, gowns, sensitive skin leads, and anti-itch creams after he had an allergic reaction. While he was in a wheelchair and half of his body was paralyzed, she was the first to figure out how to give him a shower after many long days in the hospital. She even brought a special crochet kit for our teenager. Her knowledge as a nurse was outstanding, and she even continued to learn and grow by completing her IV requirements during my husband's stay. She was cheerful, positive, upbeat, and uplifting. She was like a warm hug to our family during a very difficult time. We are so grateful to Jess.
