Our daughter came into the ER with uncontrolled vomiting from having high blood sugar and high ketones as a type 1 diabetic. After some time in the ER, we were transferred to the ICU for overnight observation.
After serving 30 years in the Coast Guard as a Corpsman/Medic, I’ve seen my fair share of good and bad medical people and our daughter’s nurse, Jessica, is for sure one of the great ones! Her care, compassion, professional, and personal skills are fantastic. You can tell she really cares about her patients and goes the extra mile.
Our daughter is a new type 1 diabetic patient and has some neurodivergent things as well, and her nurse was a fantastic resource for all of that. Thank you for the exceptional care you provided!
