Jess was absolutely phenomenal as my nurse at Cascade Valley Hospital this morning! I am typically very anxious when it comes to surgery due to past negative experiences, but right from the start, when she came in to greet me, she was kind and put me at ease just with her caring demeanor.

She made sure that I was comfortable up until it was time for my procedure, and when I saw her right after, I was so glad because she had made such an impact on me in pre-op.

As she was helping me get dressed and ready for discharge, she spoke to me with kindness and connected with me and made me feel seen and heard as not only a patient but also a person.

I have had a very rough couple of months that have impacted my mental health, and she listened to me with kindness and understanding, which I very sincerely appreciated. She helped lift me up on a dark day.

She made sure that I wrapped up a day that I was initially terrified of with ease, calm, and a smile. I sincerely hope that she is recognized for the love and care that she provides by being a nurse with Cascade Valley Hospital.
