My husband had open heart surgery, due to complications during his six hour surgery, he passed away. My first contact with this nurse was the day prior, she explained the procedure and informed me of everything that I could expect. She then visited with me prior to the surgery, and came to me many times during the long ordeal. She kept me informed of the progress, and when she needed to tell me troublesome news she was wise in the choice of her words.

When my husband passed Jessica was there, hugging me, comforting me, holding me, and helping me process my shock and grief. I've never met any nurse like her, this is not a mere “job” to her, it is a ministry. I told her she was my God appointed angel for not only that day, but several to follow, as she checked on me multiple times. She has the gift of mercy, with love and compassion flowing out of her. She poured herself out that day, as she went through this sorrow with me.
