Jessica is a WONDERFUL Nurse Supervisor who goes above and beyond for not only each and every patient but for all employees that cross her path. I have watched her grow from a CSR to a staff RN to her present role as a supervisor. She is an outstanding leader. She has made sure that the Fairlane ER has better and more LEAN process improvements to better serve our patients, and is ALWAYS wonderful to us, the staff. If we have any issues, we know we can ALWAYS go to her because she is approachable and kind. She has strong leadership skills and is always looking at the quality and safety of the ER. When there is a code room situation, she will help; when there is a conflict with employees, she is the one who will come up with the best resolution. She is a leader who truly cares and wants the best for the ER and for Henry Ford Health. I feel as though Leadership gets overlooked a lot when it comes to DAISY Awards, especially in a freestanding ER. Jessica Champagne is a leader who is mostly behind the scenes, and she absolutely deserves this honor. She gives 200% day in and day out, and I have never seen a leader give to a company the way she gives of herself. Please consider Jessica for this honor, as she is the hardest-working leader I have ever seen. I see her going even further in Henry Ford Health System, and the system is BLESSED to have her!
