Jessica is a primary example of what nursing is and what nursing care should be. My husband was Jessica’s patient and did not have to ring his call bell. She was checking in on him constantly, taking care of him over and beyond her call of duty. She has a special gift, insight into meeting a patient’s needs, and she met every one of them!

When Jessica assisted Dr. L with the dressing change, she was incredibly professional and suggested using Mepilex for some of his minor areas of need. She then turned to me and explained all I would need to know to take care of his incision once discharged. Even when Jessica was not assigned, she came in to lift him and helped the other nurses with his care. Post-operatively, he needed much care initially for his surgery lasted 10 hours face down. All of his nursing care was excellent, but Jessica’s non-stop care was exemplary!
