Jennifer was with us throughout our days in the MICU. She was my husband's nurse when he was first put on life support. Not only did she stay by his side and make sure he was comfortable and worked with the amazing doctors, but she led us through the horrifying days with grace. She explained absolutely everything that was happening with him, explained all the numbers and machines so that we understood and were comfortable in the most caring, and gentle way possible. In addition, she had humor, helped us laugh, gave us time to cry, provided Kleenex, and held our hearts throughout the scariest of times. Jen's knowledge of critical care truly helped to save my husband's life. We were so very lucky to have her as our nurse!
