Jenny truly outdid herself. My uncle deteriorated during this last admission to the hospital, but due to some immigration issues, his Medicare was no longer active, and he was unable to receive benefits to go to the nursing home. Jenny was instrumental in helping us obtain all requirements.

One of the nursing homes was asking for proof indicating my uncle’s citizenship application. Jenny took time to log on and print the appropriate forms for us. She also helped us write a letter, so my uncle could sign it and grant us approval to get the appropriate statements to take to the nursing home. She kept close contact with me for over two days, trying to assist us in transitioning my uncle to a nursing home so he could get the physical therapy he needed.

Everyone in the unit was very helpful and understanding, but overall went above and beyond. Luckily, with her assistance and guidance, my uncle is now receiving the therapy he needs at Laredo South. Jenny is a true angel who definitely deserves to be recognized, and it is because of nurses like her that families like ours entrust our health to them. We are beyond grateful!
