My baby, B, came into the ER after about 12 hours of vomiting. Right off the get-go, Jennifer was so attentive to our needs. She constantly checked in on us, making sure we did not need anything. She got his IV on the 1st attempt, which deserves praise in itself. After B's blood work results, his glucose was 55, which is a little low. She brought us a popsicle from the ER refrigerator. B ate a few bites, but he was not impressed. The only juices in the department at the time were cranberry and grape. My 11-month-old did not care for either of those. About 10 minutes later, Jennifer shows up in our room with a Spider-Man popsicle and apple juice. She had gone to the cafeteria on her own accord and bought B these things so we could get his blood sugar up. Jennifer is so caring. She took the very best care of us while we were in the ER. The department is lucky to have her!
