While a lot of the medical team was focused on saving my wife, which I am forever grateful for, Jenny made sure that both my baby and I were okay, too.
I commend Jenny Rickett for the extraordinary compassion, strength, and care she showed during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. From the very beginning of my wife's labor, Jenny was amazing. She took such great care of her and constantly reassured both of us throughout the entire process. She made us feel safe, heard, and supported every step of the way. No matter how long things went or how stressful it became, she never made us feel like just another patient. She treated us like we truly mattered, and that meant more than I can put into words.

What truly set Jenny apart, though, was how she handled one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever been through. During labor, my wife lost a significant amount of blood and became unresponsive. I was sitting there holding our newborn baby, watching everything unfold, feeling like I might never see my wife again. It was the most terrifying moment of my life, and I felt completely helpless. Throughout that entire time, Jenny never left our side. She reassured me, stayed calm under immense pressure, and somehow took care of my wife and our baby all at the same time. She spoke to me in a way that kept me grounded when everything felt like it was falling apart. She didn't just do her job; she went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't alone in that moment.

While a lot of the medical team was focused on saving my wife, which I am forever grateful for, Jenny made sure that both my baby and I were okay, too. She balanced professionalism with genuine compassion in a way that I will never forget. In a moment where fear could have taken over completely, she brought a sense of calm and control that helped me hold it together. If it weren't for Jenny, I truly don't know how I would have gotten through that experience. She made an unbearable situation feel just a little more manageable, and that meant everything to me. The way she carried herself, supported us, and stayed strong through such a critical moment speaks volumes about the kind of nurse and person she is. Jenny is, without a doubt, the best nurse I have ever come into contact with. She didn't just care for patients; she cared for our family. Because of her, we were able to get through one of the hardest days of our lives, and we will never forget what she did for us.
