I've known Ms. Manalo since she was a novice. I personally observed her exemplary character. Her position ranked from staff nurse to charge nurse to nurse training coordinator. Because of her innate leadership capability, she was chosen and promoted as head nurse of GNU.

As Charge Nurse, she demonstrated compassionate patient care, strong clinical skills, positive patient interactions, teamwork, and advocacy.

As Nurse Training Coordinator, she displayed professionalism, the ability to develop and implement effective training programs, improve nursing practices, and foster a positive learning environment through strong communication and leadership skills. Her dedication to NTC is unwavering. She even uses her rest day to accomplish things, particularly if there are events that will be hosted by the Nursing service.

Ms. Manalo is not only the NTC of Nursing but also a computer wizard of Training I/we, her colleagues, admire her for being thoroughly equipped and very competent in handling all concerns of the Nursing Services Division.

What sets her apart is her extraordinary communication skills. She is a bridge that connects not only the members of the nursing team but also collaborates effectively with other divisions. This ability to harmonise and bring people together makes her an indispensable pillar in the hospital.

She is the kind of nurse who consistently goes the extra mile beyond her duties. She works tirelessly to make sure that no detail is overlooked and that every nurse under her guidance is supported, informed, and empowered to perform at their best.

She creates a nurturing environment where nurses feel cared for, valued and motivated to excel. She is not only a coordinator but also a mentor, a guide and an inspiration. Her presence reassures us that no matter how big the challenge, we can overcome it together with discipline, compassion and unity.
