Upon my admittance to the ER due to a low white blood cell count, this nurse immediately stood out to me. Not only did she go out of her way to explain everything to me and my anxious mom, but she also took care of me and knew what I needed before I even had to tell her. Her personality is perfect for her job, and I can tell she truly loves what she does. I was actually devastated at shift change when she had to go home, and she went out of her way to stop and check on me before she headed out. Not only that, but she also knew I had been admitted to stay, and she came up to check on me after her shift the following day. I will never forget the impact she had on me in such a scary situation, and I am so thankful she was my nurse; I believe that she was sent from God to take care of children and was placed in my room for a reason.
